Twelve minutes
from the door.
The Sithonian coast wraps around the bay in a long, calm arc. Olive groves climb the slopes, pine forest meets the water, and a chain of small islands, the Diaporos, keeps the bay flat even when the wind is up.
Karydi beach sits at the bay's edge: shallow water, white sand, and the most-photographed slice of coastline in Halkidiki. Boats run from the harbour for day-trips around the islands.
